What is Hastelloy Material?
HASTELLOY is a Super alloy that is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy available.
Hastelloy is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum solid solution strengthened super-alloy with a nominal chemical composition of 56% nickel, 22% chromium, and 13% molybdenum, with additions of iron, tungsten, and cobalt.
While this is the typical composition there are many alloy of Hastelloy Such As C276, B, C22 which have varied chemical composition.
What are the advantages of Using Hastelloy material?
Hastelloy has excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres up to 1900°F. It has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical environments.
Hastelloy is one of the few alloys to have High Corrosion resistance and can be used at high temperatures
HASTELLOY C276 is one of the few alloys resistant to wet chloride gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions.

Jay Enterprises is one of the Few companies able to manufacture Camlock Coupling in Hastelloy grades. Since we manufacture our Camlock Couplings by casting, we are able to provide Camlock Couplings in Grade ASTM A494 CW12MW(Hastelloy C276) and ASTM A494 N12MV( Hastelloy B)
